Providing children with meaningful and open interactions throughout their day to day engagement with practitioners. This encourages children to take the lead in conversations with others, rather than practitioners leading with questions, which can be overwhelming. Children can explore and develop their communication and language skills whilst also aiding their own personal, social and emotional development.
Children who are greeted with such interactions everyday are able to constantly build and develop a vast amount of skills from descriptive language skills to social interactions. This provides children with a large amount of confidence when interacting with new peers and other unfamiliar people, allowing them to build lasting connections in their early years.
